Diagnostic laboratory passed the tests

The up-to-date diagnostic laboratory was established in ADD Service. The specialists of this company went on an expedition to the Siberian branches to test the technical potential of the diagnostic equipment. They covered the distance of 12 thousand km in an off-roader and tested the energy equipment state at the sites of 5 branches.

The route passed via Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Nizhnevartovsk, Strezhevoy and Nefteyugansk. The main task was to reveal serious problems and to find out what can be done for their solution.

By means of vibroanalysis systems, rotating parts of internal-combustion engines were tested, vibration level was determined, thermal imaging control was carried out, engine operating temperatures were checked, exhaust fumes analysis and fuel and oil rapid analysis were made.

As the diagnostics results have shown, the contact joints are exposed to risk on oil fields. The contact joints get overheated owing to some external reasons, and this excessive heating may cause emergency situations and thus high risks for the company and fines on the part of the customer.

At the moment the specialists are developing the methods which will make it possible to control the condition of contact joints.

The second problem, revealed in the process of diagnostics, lies in the fact that fuel does not correspond the quality standards. It also influences equipment condition and that is why demands obligatory control.

All the obtained information are analysed and classified. The laboratory equipping is going on and necessary methods and programmes are being established. Having completed the laboratory equipping, the company is not only going to control the condition of its own equipment but also offer this service to customers.

The diagnostic centre is planned to become a mobile subdivision. Its specialists are supposed to go to customers with the necessary equipment, diagnose, report on the results and give recommendations.
