The ADD Group is the exclusive distributor of Euro-Diesel products from Belgium on the Russian market. In order to promote the equipment by this famous European manufacturer successfully and to learn more about its potential, our specialists update their engineering knowledge standards.

The specialists of ADD Engineering have completed their training course at the home factory which makes dynamic uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. No similar equipment has ever been delivered to Russia, therefore our specialists had to get extra knowledge in order to promote the equipment on the market and to construct the power parks.

It was the intense training course with highly qualified specialists from Euro-Diesel. In Euro-Diesel operating departments the ADD representatives saw the whole engineering process of the dynamic UPS systems assembling and visited four UPS test runs (1700 kW).

As a result of the training course, the ADD specialists got comprehensive information about
the design of the dynamic UPS systems, their mode of operation, the control system architecture, the principle of interface operation, software, servicing and possible options arrangement.

This effective equipment is a good alternative to the system «diesel-generating set + static UPS system», especially for more than 800 MW or 1MVA capacities . The usage of the dynamic UPS systems is promising in the industries where any work cycle failure caused by short-duration power supply interruption leads to grave production losses (for example in telecom and television companies, high tech medical centres, airports).
