Uninterruptible power supply system (48V 800 A) with the standby battery was designed by A D D Engineering specialists of on the ground of the technical specification worked out by Moroz. V.G., Chief Power Engineer of "Fora Communication"
Based on the "efficiency \ cost \ reliability" criteria the following equipment was chosen:
- APC rectifier system PC-1200 (48V 800A, expandable up to 1200A).
- HAWKER - VARTA 24 OPzV3000 (2V/3000A*h) insulated accumulator battery.
On the second stage of the commissioning, following A D D Engineering "turnkey" project principle in design, the design estimates were worked out and installation of the metal constructions, shelves, battery, rectifier rack and direct-current distribution cabinet was realized.
This project was carried out under the direction of Likov A.L, A D D Engineering deputy Director, and was accepted by Moroz V.G., Chief Power Engineer of "Fora Communication".
The severest operating conditions were simulated during the complex adjustment of the uninterruptible power supply system on the real load equivalent.
All systems parameters were within the acceptable rates under all operating conditions. The energy output of the accumulator battery was 118% from the rated capacity during the check bit.
