The large-scale potential of small-scale power generation

Alexander V. Vysotsky, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of A.D.D. Group JSC, the managing company of the A.D.D. Group of Companies, has become the head of the sub-committee on small-scale power industry of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Small-scale power industry has been solving power supply problems of developing economy in Russia for a long time. Its cutting edge approach to project implementation is efficient and eco-friendly.

The sub-committee on small-scale power industry is aimed at proposal development in the field of smart use of local fuel and energy resources, as well as at their implementation arrangements which apply innovative and eco-friendly technologies.

Within the framework of the sub-committee, it is planned to provide consideration of the most topical issues of small-scale power industry development, as well as co-operation of business, scientific community and government authorities in the field of proposal development aimed at the regulatory system upgrading. The potential and experience of the small-scale power industry may make a significant contribution to solving energy supply shortage problems, the ecological situation improvement, reliability enhancement of the power grid and energy security.
