Associated petroleum gas conversion process in oil fields. The new solution

The A.D.D. Group of Companies presented the new project at ‘Investing and Financing Renewable Energy in Russia' International Conference which was held in April in Stockholm

The project execution will enable oil companies to solve the topical problem of associated petroleum gas recovery, to avoid fines, to achieve significant cost-cutting by means of substituting diesel fuel for gas fuel and to reduce the amount of ecologically harmful substances which are released into the atmosphere as a result of associated petroleum gas flaring.

The A.D.D. Group of Companies has wide experience of co-operating with oil and drilling companies, that is why it has been taking up the problem of associated petroleum gas recovery and usage in oil fields for a long time. The new solution, presented by A.D.D. Group Joint Stock Company's General Manager Vladislav Norkin, is aimed to reduction of harmful emissions into the atmosphere, as well as to reduction of the greenhouse effect.

Hafsteinn Helgason, the General Manager of Addison Engineering, the joint Russian-Icelandic company, where A.D.D. Group JSC holds a block of shares, also made a report at the conference. In his report he considered the small-scale power industry investment opportunities in Russia.
