A.D.D. and LS: Partnership Development

The official representatives of LS Industrial Systems have visited the ADD Group. In the framework of the visit (16-18 April), the Korean delegation saw over two industrial sites of the A.D.D. Group: the site in Metallostroy where packaging containers are produced, and the high-voltage mobile substations manufacturing site on Volkhonskoye high road.

The Russian-Korean partnership started last year when the A.D.D. Group was developing the high voltage mobile substation project at its manufacturing site.

LS Group (one of LG Corporation structural units) consists of 17 companies, and it is one of the biggest conglomerates in Korea. LS Industrial Systems specializes in electronic equipment and systems, protection & measurement products, low voltage, medium voltage (up to 330 kV) and high voltage switchgears.

The Memorandum of Understanding for the Russian and Korean companies' partnership was signed in November last year when the Russian delegation was visiting Korea.

The new visit of LS Industrial Systems delegation has become the next step in the Russian-Korean partnership development. Mr. Koo (President & CEO), Mr. Kim (Executive Vice President / Head of Global Business Headquarter) and Mr. Youn (Senior Vice President / Head of Overseas Power T&D, Industrial IT business Division) have got acquainted with the ADD Group's business activities and strategic projects.

The Letter of Intent for contractual purchasing agreement (2008) has been signed.
